Organization Overview
Steven Mitchell Sack, a nationally recognized attorney whose practice is devoted to sales rep litigation, contract negotiations, and general labor law, is available for all MAFSI rep members to receive free services or services at a reduced rate on such matters as pre-hiring considerations, contracts, hiring and firing of suppliers and employees, protecting commissions, and resignation and termination.
Below is a list of services being provided for MAFSI Rep Members:
Unlimited telephone and e-mail access at no charge.
Up to two (2) office consultations per year at no charge.
Review of any legal or business matter at no charge.
Review of all leases, rep contracts, and agreements furnished to members at no charge.
Drafting of initial demand letters in commission collection, employment-related disputes, and general collection work by this office at no charge.
Preparation and submission of a standard, suggested letter agreement with member reps and their principals.
Simple letter agreement with principals; suggested employment agreement when hiring subreps; and suggested employment agreement when hiring sales employees and showroom managers.
Reduced contingency fee collection rates of Twenty Five Percent (25%) for all commissions and other monies collected on a member's behalf in negotiations.
Reduced rates of $425.00 per hour for other legal services rendered on behalf of members or the association.
This includes litigation defense and arbitration representation, the drafting and negotiating of partnership agreements, buy-sell agreements, principal-rep agreements, representation of members in discrimination and breach of contract lawsuits, and all legal work rendered for the association on an as-needed basis.
